Thesis Projects at LiU with the iVis Group

The iVis group provides a number of topics for degree/thesis projects at Linköping University. In order to access the detailed descriptions of open topics, please contact one of the iVis researchers.

There is no unalterable division between Master's and Bachelor's theses, i.e., in many cases, one could extend a topic for a Bachelor's Thesis to a topic for a Master's Thesis, and vice versa. Often, there are also other topics (resulting from our research) which are not listed explicitly. Of course, you can also propose your own theme/idea from the areas of information visualization, visual analytics, intelligent user interfaces, sonification, or human-computer interaction (additionally, topics within data mining, machine learning, or other computational data analysis approaches—as long as they involve visual/interactive aspects or are relevant to the ongoing research in InfoVis/VA in some other way). In any case, you should simply contact one of the iVis group members.

Please note that you are responsible for checking in advance if you fulfill the requirements for starting a degree project!
